Welcome to our Middle Eastern Halal Market and Bakery!
We’re a husband-and-wife team who came to America from Egypt in the 1980s, bringing with us a love for food rooted in our culture and family life. We are fulfilling our dream of sharing the mouth-watering flavors we grew up with, in the wonderful community we’ve called home for over four decades.
Our store specializes in a wide variety of authentic Middle Eastern and Mediterranean handmade dishes such as freshly prepared falafel, seasoned grilled chicken, stuffed grape leaves, and kofta kebab. We also carry a variety of international goods and a range of vegetarian options, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Every item we serve is Halal (Øلال). Whether for religious observance or simply for the love of high-quality, ethically sourced food, you can rest assured that our items are prepared with the highest standards of cleanliness, using natural ingredients and meat from humanely treated animals.
Akram brings years of experience from previously running a popular restaurant. Growing up in Faiyum, an ancient city surrounded by a beautiful oasis, he has happy memories of the locally grown ingredients that inspired his mother’s baking – from the sweet figs in the orchards to the eggs from the chickens on his family’s rooftop. Akram takes personal pride in using family recipes and fresh ingredients to create tasty meals.
